The Well Pump......

We have been getting dirty water for over a week.
Saturday night we all went to the well and started pulling up the pump. The pump was going bad, Of course you know when there is 14 people living in a house, the pump will not last long.

Here Dad is dropping stones down the well.

Corn!!

We found this is the fasts and best way to do corn.
You build a fire, put a barrel on top. fill it with water, boil the water and then dump the corn in!:)
Then when its done you husk it. And the best thing is, the hair comes off really easy!!!

Then we take it out of the boiling water and put it right in to cold water.
