Sylvia and Sandra helped a local Christian business with an Easter event on Saturday. They had a big Easter Egg Hunt for children.
The turn out was amazing, there was 1,500 kids that registered. And we estimated about 200 more that didn't.
We spent two days before the event, filling 6,000 Easter Eggs with candy and little toys.
They also had baby farm animals there for a little petting zoo.
Now the whole Easter egg think does seem to take away the whole real meaning and effect for Easter. Let us just remember that Easter is to remind us that Jesus Christ is risen from the grave! He is alive! It reminds us that our faith in him is not in vain. It's about Our Lord and Savor. It's not about the non-existing Bunnie that has colorful eggs. ;)
